* 7 Cinnamon sticks approximately 2 3/4" - 3" long
* 1 Elastic (rubber band)
* 10" piece of ribbon
* 7" of clear thread

The cinnamon sticks should all be close to the same length. bundle them together and wrap an elastic securely around the center of the bundle. Tie the ribbon around the bundle on top of the elastic, covering it. Trim the ends of the ribbon at an angle to give them a finished look.

Thread the clear thread thru the ribbon and tie the ends in a knot to form the hanger.

Materials
* 5 1/4" White Chenille stem (pipe cleaner)

* 16 Red Tri-beads
* 16 Clear or white Tri-beads

Candy Cane Ornament - Lacy Version

Materials:
* 5 1/4" White Chenille stem (pipe cleaner)
* 5" Piece of string or elastic thread
* 16 Red Tri-beads
* 16 Clear or White Tri-beads
* Approx 1 yard ½" wide lace with a row of holes down the center. Gauge: 4 holes = 2"
you will need 33 holes.

The Lacy Candy Cane is made in the same way as the simple version with the following exceptions. After step 1, you slide the first hole of the lace onto the pipe cleaner. Then, after the addition of each bead, you put the pipe cleaner through the next hole in the lace before adding anymore beads.

This completed Candy Cane Ornament will have a totally different look than the simple version.

The lace I used alternates larger holes with smaller holes. I use only the larger holes to thread the pipe cleaner through.
