CRAFTS MATERIALS YOUR KIDS NEED TO MAKE THIS CHILDREN'S ARTS AND CRAFTS ACTIVITIES
5 Large Black/Green plastic garbage bags Clear packing tape (or any strong tape) White construction paper (for eyes) Old newspapers (for stuffing) Scissors General Instructions Using one garbage bag, stuff with newspaper to make large, round shape. Close bottom using packing tape. Take 4 garbage bags and cut in half down the middle of the long side. Tape sides cut closed. You will then have 8 strips with an open end. Stuff the open ends with newspaper half way. Twist the bag (for knee joint) then continue stuffing until full. Tape off end. On round garbage bag, tape eyes cut from from white construction paper - or other white materials. Eyes can be decorated with permanent marker to make eyeballs or eyelashes. Take your spider parts outside and assemble. You should have the body and 8 legs. Prop the legs up against the body, or tape to the body.

Halloween Trick or Treat Bags - Make your own Trick-or-Treat bags with Raffia or household string with this easy to make fun kid's craft idea just in time for Halloween!
CRAFTS MATERIALS YOUR KIDS NEED TO MAKE THIS CHILDRENS' ARTS AND CRAFTS ACTIVITY:
Raffia or household string Markers in a variety of colors Medium or small sized brown paper bags Beads, buttons, glitter, spiders, and other trim items Tape.
How to Make:
1. Decorate your bag with the markers and trim items. Faces, spiders, ghosts, jack-0-lanterns or anything else you like.
2. Open the paper bag. Wrap 2 small bunches of raffia strips from top of bag, completely around bottom and back to top leaving an additional foot of raffia to tie into knot or bow.
3. Tape the raffia all around the front, bottom and back of bag so it doesn't slip loose.
4. Tie both ends of the raffia together at top and secure with knot for carrying.
Now you are ready to go out and fill your bag with goodies.

CRAFTS MATERIALS YOUR KIDS NEED TO MAKE THIS CHILDRENS' ARTS AND CRAFTS ACTIVITY:
Materials Needed:: 2 Paper Plates; black and white construction paper; black marker; scissors; string; cotton balls or tissue (for stuffing); Elmer's Glue-All
Grades: K-2
Color both paper plates completely black with the marker. If you choose, you can cut two similarly sized circles out of black construction paper instead.. Make eyes out of the white construction paper and glue in place on one of the plates or circles. Cut 8 strips of black construction paper 1" wide by 12" long. Fold each in an accordion style. These will be the legs. Glue legs to the bottom of the plate or circle that does NOT have the eyes glued to it. Lay the top plate or circle on top of the one with the legs and staple them together around the edges leaving an opening on one side to insert the stuffing. Stuff the "body" of the spider with cotton balls or tissue. Staple the hole closed when finished. Staple a string to the end of the plate opposite the eyes and you're ready to hang!
