Crafts Materials Needed:

5 pieces of macaroni each 3″ long

5 pieces of heavy string each 3-feet long

5 buttons slightly larger than hole in macaroni

yarn

5″ needle

How to Make the Macaroni Loom

Step 1

Pull a length of string through each of the macaroni pieces.

Fasten a button to the top end of each string to prevent string from slipping through macaroni hole.

Step 3

Thread the needle with yarn, and starting with the middle macaroni piece, weave the yarn over and under the macaroni pieces.

Slide yarn onto strings as weaving progresses, pulling macaroni downward.
