Craft materials required:

Thick colored paper

Acrylic Gold paint

Paintbrush

Markers

Scizzors

Pencil

Step 1

Draw out a leaf shape as shown.

Step 2

Cut it out

Step 3

On one side of the leaf, write the name of the friend or family member who’s gonna be there for thanksgiving dinner

Step 4

On the other side of the leaf , write something nice about the person.

Step 5

Paint the edges of the leaf gold as shown

Step 6

Place the leaf in the center of the plate, and you’re all set for thanksgiving dinner.

Black ribbon

Paper clips

Draw out different shaped leaved on different fall colored papers

Step 2

Cut them out as shown

Step 3

Distribute the leaves among all the members of your family . get each person to write something they’re thankful for.

Step 4

collect everyone’s leaves

Step 5

Use a paper clip to attach each leaf to the ribbon as shown

Step 6

Hang it somewhere where you can see it and be reminded of  all your blessings.

Here is a beautiful fall leaf decoration that you can hang on your wall or your door to celebrate Thanksgiving. Its very simple and easy to make. All you need is some paper, ribbon, scissors and glitter glue. The simple step by step instructions for this Thanksgiving crafts activity  follow.

Thanksgiving Fall Leaf Hanging Decoration Craft for Kids

Craft materials required:

Thick craft paper

glitter glue tubes- (Acrylic or 3D glitter glue works better)

ribbon

Scissors

pencil

Step 1

Draw out a leaf as shown

Step 2

Cut it out

Step 3

Write the words ” Give Thanks ” with pencil and go over it with glitter glue.

Decorate the rest with glitter glue

Step 4:

Turn it around and place a piece of ribbon as shown. Use cellotape  or glue to tape it in place

Step 5

Your fall leaf decoration is ready. Hang it on a wall for everyone to admire!!
