With Easter comes lots of decorative baskets like the one that you see below. There are many ways that you can make them, but this is one of the easiest ways to make them. You can start with a pretty sturdy base by using a berry container. This way, most of the work is already done for you. Then you just use ribbon to weave in and out of the slots and you have a pretty basket. The handle can be simply made with pipe cleaners and ribbons tied into bows.

(1) Take plastic baskets such as berries are sold in at grocery stores, and with odds and ends of ribbon, let the children weave through the slits of the baskets.
(2) Attach a pipe stem cleaner to the top for a handle.
(3) Cover with ribbon.
