Read The Instructions Below.
Cloth 9" x 18"
needle and thread
a small box for the head
To make this, you first need to choose the type of head you desired and color with crayons. Leave a hole in the neck for your index finger. Cut out a simple dress by folding a piece of fabric in half....in a rectangle shape that is around the size of your hand. Cut out a neck hole and 2 arm holes like in the picture above. Basically, you will take the 9" x 18" piece of cloth or felt. Fold in half. Then draw the shirt shape on it. Then cut out on the red lines and sew together on those lines. Tack the dress neck to the head with glue or tacs. Cut out the hands from the scraps of material and sew to the dress: Insert your index finger into the neck, and your thumb and middle finger become the arms.
