Handprint Easter Basket: Easter Crafts for Your Children

CRAFTS MATERIALS NEEDED

• (1) Tape or Glue

• (2) Crayons, Markers, Glitter, Etc.

• (3) Scissors

• (4) Crafter paper, Craft Foam or Card Stock

 

1 – Gather up your child or children and have him or her sit at the table. Trace your child’s hand onto the craft paper. If your kids are old enough, let them trace their own hands.

2 – Cut out at least 8 hands, depending on the size of your child’s handprint. The Easter basket will look even more beautiful if you use many different colors. Aren't your child's hands adorable?

3 – Get out a brown piece of construction paper or craft foam. Now Draw and cut out a basket shape that looks similar to the one above.

 

4 – Cut out a slit in the basket, this is where the eggs will go.

5 – Line up your handprints to make the handle. Tip: lay out the prints before you begin to glue or tape them into place.

6 – Once you have all your handprints laid out, tape or glue them into place.

 

7 – Cut our Easter eggs for the baskets, sliding them into the slit you cut out. You can decorate your eggs with markers, crayons or even glitter before placing them in the basket.

8 – Tape or glue your eggs into the basket. This makes a great hanging for the fridge or front door!
