Autumn / Fall Crafts - Take the children out for a walk to identify trees and collect leaves. Then create a nature collage at home - as big as you can!

This pretty door hanger is very economical. Terrific for group crafting!
Autumn / Fall Crafts - Laminated Place Mat or Window Pictures - This craft is easiest if you have access to a laminator, but can also be done, with patience, with a supply of contact paper (clear sticky-back plastic). It is a super way for kids to choose, compare and arrange contrasting leaves and preserve them for a while.
Autumn Lacing Projects for Younger Kids such as Preschoolers and Kindergarteners - Lacing projects are a great craft for preschoolers and kindergarten children to complete during any holiday. The lacing gives them fine motor skill practice and practice tying knots and bows (shoelaces!) The large blank area in the center gives the kids the chance to 'get creative' by further decorating with paper cutouts, stickers or crayons.
Autumn Tree Craft for Kids - There are 3 variations on this craft depending on which templates you print and how messy you want to get. You can either: 1. print the Trunk and decorate with "handprint" leaves (fingerpaint), 2. print the Leaves and decorate a "homemade" trunk
3. print the Trunk and the Leaves and paste them together. 4. You can also go outside and collect real fall leaves and paste those on.
