Autumn / Fall Crafts - Take the children out for a walk to identify trees and collect leaves. Then create a nature collage at home - as big as you can!

Autumn / Fall Crafts - Laminated Place Mat or Window Pictures - This craft is easiest if you have access to a laminator, but can also be done, with patience, with a supply of contact paper (clear sticky-back plastic). It is a super way for kids to choose, compare and arrange contrasting leaves and preserve them for a while.

Autumn Lacing Projects for Younger Kids such as Preschoolers and Kindergarteners - Lacing projects are a great craft for preschoolers and kindergarten children to complete during any holiday. The lacing gives them fine motor skill practice and practice tying knots and bows (shoelaces!) The large blank area in the center gives the kids the chance to 'get creative' by further decorating with paper cutouts, stickers or crayons.

Autumn Tree Craft for Kids - There are 3 variations on this craft depending on which templates you print and how messy you want to get. You can either: 1. print the Trunk and decorate with "handprint" leaves (fingerpaint), 2. print the Leaves and decorate a "homemade" trunk 3. print the Trunk and the Leaves and paste them together. 4. Artists Helping Children is No Longer Acting as a Nonprofit Due to the New Provisions of The Pension Protection Act of 2006 Passed on August 03, 2006. We Are No Longer Accepting Donations of Any Kind. We are Currently Keeping This Site Up As Is and Will Continue to Post Information on Any Updates to the Status of Artists Helping Children. The Site Still Has a Wealth of Information and Can Still Be Used as Such. We Are Obviously Deeply Distressed Over This Provision That Was Secretly Included In This New Law and We Were Taken by Complete Surprise. We Hope in the Future That We Will Be Able to Change the Status of Our Organization so That We Can Once Again Resume Our Help to Children.
