These are some great hand puppets to make with paper bags...especially for preschoolers. These brown paper bag puppets will fill a day up with fun and creativity.

Making Paper Bag Creatures and Puppets

 

You will need the following materials to make Fist Puppets:

Paper bags

crayons or markers or paint

paste

a little imagination

other crafts items you might want to decorate the creatures with

How to Make These Paper Bag Puppets

Paper bags, crayons, paste and a little imagination can create some interesting animal puppets such as an elephant, donkey and lion. Use a new brown paper lunch bag for each animal. Follow the designs above and make the ears for the donkey and a trunk for the elephant. Paste on, and then color the puppet as desired, drawing in the face and legs. Color the lion and draw in the face and legs. Then paste on orange yarn, looping it to form head of hair. Insert your hand into the bag and use your fingers to move the bottom of the bag up and down to make the animal's head move. You can add any other creative crafts items that you want to such as Googly eyes, feathers, sequins, lace, fabric, felt, etc. Your only limit is your imagination and creativity.
