HOW TO MAKE MILK CARTON LOG CABINS : Arts & Crafts for Kids & Teens

Do you know those square milk cartons that you drink out of at school? Well you can use those little buggers to make a cool log cabin - like the kind that Abraham Lincoln lived in. Thats right...the square milk carton is the perfect base to build a toy log cabin out of. This is a great craft to make for President's Day or just to have fun. Find out how to make these below.

Milk Carton Log Cabins

CRAFTS MATERIALS NEEDED:

Square Milk Carton

Sandpaper

Plaster of Paris, Gesso, or Papier Mache (newspaper strips, flour & water)

Clay

Scissor

Paint & Brush

How to Make Them:


(1) Use square milk cartons (the kind you drink at school).

(2) Sandpaper the waxy surface.

(3) Cover with Plaster of Paris, Gesso, or Papier Mache

(4) Make the chimney from clay.

(5) Cut an opening for the door.

(6)Paint.
