Are you here wondering what you can do with all those empty film canisters? You can attach an inexpensive plastic clip to it and use it carry your favorite small things (such as a lip gloss or lip stick) on your belt or backpack.
You can also make some miniature music shakers by painting the craft sticks black. Then decorate the craft sticks and the film canisters with colored vinyl tape. Cut a slit in the canister tops to hold the craft sticks later. Finally fill the canisters halfway with rice or beads and replace the tops and push the craft sticks in.
Another craft you can make with a black film canister is a bumble bee. Paint yellow stripes on the film canister, then glue on a black pompom for the head and a black pipe cleaner for the antenna. Wiggle eyes can be used for the eyes.
