Invisible ink is used when you want only certain people to see what you wrote. The message can only be revealed by secret ways only the recipient/recipients knows. Children love using invisible ink, especially when they don't want their siblings or parents seeing their message.
There are a lot of ways to make invisible ink from ingredients at home, for example, from baking soda. To make this you will need to mix 1/4 cup of baking soda with 1/4 cup of water. Then dip a Q-tip in the solution and write your secret message on a piece of paper. Let it dry. To reveal the message, ask the recipient to paint grape juice concentrate across the paper with the message using a paint brush. The message will be revealed because the acid in it reacts with the baking soda.
