Children has always been fascinated by rocks and stones starting from a very young age. Children can use these stones to make various crafts and homemade games such as tic-tac-toe. For the tic-tac-toe, you can paint on the "X" and "O" or paint the stones two different colors to differentiate the players.
A popular rock craft among children, especially toddler age group, is the pet rock. Children can design their own unique pet or design an specific insect (Eg. Lady Bug or Bee), or an animal (Eg. Dog or Pig). You can also paint a rock for your mom and/or dad so they can use it as a paper weight for their office desk or make a pebble mosaic.
To make this colorful stone covered hot plate, you need to follow these instructions. Get a coffee can lid or like-sized lid. Set the lid on a tarp, newspapers, or garbage bags to protect your tables. Mix Plaster of Paris to a thick consistency and fill the lid about 1/2 the way up. Work quickly before the plaster sets. Scatter colorful fish stones / rocks all over the plaster and make sure that it sets evenly and flat. Do Not Extend the Rocks Above the Lid. You can now allow the hot plate to set before using.
These make beautiful necklaces...all you will need are 12" medium copper wire, 1 pretty rock or semi-precious stone such as agate, etc., long-nosed pliers, clear nail polish or lacquer and a paintbrush. Wrap copper wire around the stone in several directions and twist together at the top to hold stone in place and give a loop for fastening to chain, bracelet or key chain (sketch a). summer coming many of us see ladybugs everywhere. Why not create some

negotiate the project just fine on their own.
