Make Giant Bubble Wands with Wire Coat Hangers

Who knew that you could make jumbo bubble wands with wire coat hangers? I didn't until recently. Untwist a wire hanger and then make a big circley-loop with it and then close it by twisting it around itself as seen in the picture above. Fill a pan with bubbles and practice making huge bubbles.
Making Toss the Spool Hanger Game

To make this hanger game, you will ned 1 wire coat hanger, 24" length of string, and 1 spoo. Bend the hanger to form a hoop. Make a slight kink opposite the hook so the string will not slide when attached (sketch a). Tie a spool to one end of the string; then tie the other end of the string, very tightly, to the hoop where you have made the kink. If you wish, you may paint the spool. Now you are ready to play the game. Hold the hook end in your hand and flip the hoop to make the spool pass through it (sketch b). You are disqualified if you hit the wire.
Making Wire Hanger Fish Mobiles

(PARENTAL SUPERVISION NEEDED) Snip the hook from a lightweight metall coat hanger... leaving one long strip of wire when straightened. Make sharp bend near center, then two reverse bends 1" from first to form mouth of fish (as seen in picture above). Cross wire about 4" from ends to form tail. Make bends in tail so ends of wire meet. Tape ends together. Two small fish may be made from one hanger. Suspend fish from ceiling by thread. A Variation: Cover fish with copper pot cleaner (seen in picture above) to make glistening scales. Do this by removing fastener from cleaner and stretch it over the fish. Tie it around fish's tail with a mesh raveling. Put paper fasteners through a circle piece of paaper for eyes (or figure something else out that you like).
