Today, we will show you how to make this really cool Valentine’s Day Card craft for kids. This is a really cool card that will show the name of your friend’s name or loved one’s name when moving the heart’s arrow. Learn how to make it below.

How to Make Magically Appearing Name Valentines Day Cards Craft for Kids

Crafts Materials Needed

- Paper
- Cardboard
- Scissors

Step 1

Take a piece of red paper and fold it in half as you see above.

Step 2

Draw half of a heart and cut it out as seen above.


Step 3

Okay, so now you have a heart.

Step 4

Then cut a row of slits about half an inch apart across the middle of the heart, as shown above. Cut twice as many slits as there are letters in your name. Make the slits an inch deep.

Step 5

Write the word ‘from’ in the upper corner.

Step 6

Then cut a white or goldish-yellow arrow out of heavy paper, card stock, or cardboard. It should be a little less than 1 inch wide so it will easily slide through the slits. On this arrow, print the letters of your name 1/2 inch apart. In between these letters, make question marks…see above.

When the arrow is moved, the name will appear, as shown in fig c. above.
