VALENTINE'S DAY HEART GUY CRAFT : Valentine's Day Arts and Crafts Ideas for Kids

CRAFTS MATERIALS NEEDED:

1. Craft Foam or Construction Paper
2. Scissors
3. Pipecleaners (Chenille Stems)
4. Markers
5. Googley Eyes
6. Glue

CRAFT PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS:

(1) Get out your construction paper or foam sheets .. preferably red or pink. Trace out a heart shape and cut it out.

(2) Now get out pipecleaners. Fold 2 pipecleaner in half and paste one to each side of your heart cutout for arms.

(3) Now Fold 2 more pipecleaner in half and paste each to the bottom of the heart to look like legs.

(4) Now cutout 4 small hearts. Now paste each small heart to the end of the pipecleaners. 2 of the hearts will be hands and 2 of the hearts will be feet for the heart guy that you are creating.

(4) Now cutout 3 hearts. These hearts should be much smaller than the hands and feet hearts...and should preferably be a lighter color. Now paste one of the small hearts in the middle of the big heart...this will be the heart guy's nose. Also paste 2 of the small pink hearts on either side of the nose as cheeks. Now get a black marker out and draw a smiley mouth. Paste 2 googley eyes above the nose. Now your heart guy is finished. Give it to someone you love or a special friend.
