How to Make a Necklace for Mom or Grandma on Mother’s Day – From Construction Paper or Cardboard

Crafts Materials Needed

-Cardboard, Construction Paper, or Stiff Paper
-Paper punch (or use a darning needle)
-String or Yarn
-Scissor

Step 1

Cut diamond-shaped figures from pieces of colored construction paper. Fig. I . If you don’t want diamonds, you can also cut cardboard in the shape of squares, rectangles, and the like. They would also be folded over in the same fashion.

Step 2

Double and paste over a string of yarn. Fig. 2.

Step 3

Tie to form a necklace.

Step 4

Lace together with yarn or string in the manner seen above. If you do not possess a paper punch use a darning needle to make the holes.
