Today I’m going to show you a fun craft you can make with some of the supplies you probably have at home.  I’m going to show you how to make a very cute Paper Clip Necklace.  This craft is made from paper clips and colored paper…. it’s really quite an easy craft, but so much fun.  It’s great for children of all ages.  So grab the materials needed and let’s get started.

Materials Needed

– colored paper (I used a white/pink transparent paper)
– paper clips
– glue
– scissors
– ruler

 

Step 1

Connect the paper clips together into a necklace.

Try it and see if it is the length you need it to be. Mine will have 14 paper clips.

 

Step 2.

Cut a piece of paper with a 2 cm width. You will see that is almost as big as the paper clip.

Make 13 rectangles of it, with 4 cm length. The 14th paper clip will be used to close the necklace, so it will stay as it is.

 

Step 3

Apply a layer of glue on one little rectangle…

… place it on one paper clip and wrap it around it.

It will look like this.

 

Step 4

Repeat step 3 for all the other little rectangles and the necklace is ready.
