Materials Needed

– pattern cardboard (ideally with different pattern on the sides)
– assorted ribbon
– scissors

Step 1

Cut a square from the cardboard.

Divide your card into thirds.

Rotate the card 90 degrees and divide the card into thirds again. You now have 9 squares scored on your card.

Step 2

On each of the four corner squares, score a line diagonally, from the corner of the square in toward the center.

Fold along the horizontal lines …

… then along the vertical ones…

… and eventually along the diagonal lines.

It will look like this.

Punch a hole in each of the four corner squares…

… like this.

Take a piece of ribbon …

… and thread it through the punched holes.

Draw the ends of the ribbon together and tie a knot, or a bow if you like. Now fill it with candy.

And, that’s it!!  Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!!  You just finished your Candy Box for Valentines Day.  How did it turn out?  Now, fill with candy and give it to your favorite someone this Valentines Day.
