How to Make Macaroni Weavers or Looms
Crafts Materials Needed:
5 pieces of macaroni each 3″ long
5 pieces of heavy string each 3-feet long
5 buttons slightly larger than hole in macaroni
How to Make the Macaroni Loom
Pull a length of string through each of the macaroni pieces.
Fasten a button to the top end of each string to prevent string from slipping through macaroni hole.
Thread the needle with yarn, and starting with the middle macaroni piece, weave the yarn over and under the macaroni pieces.
Slide yarn onto strings as weaving progresses, pulling macaroni downward. Add additional yarn by overlapping ends.
When desired length of belt is reached, remove macaroni pieces and tie ends of yarn
